Workshop “How to Find a Job: Resume, Cover Letter and Interview”

Are you looking for a job? We can not give you one but we can provide you with all necessary practical skills that will help you to get an excellent job! You are invited to an extremely useful workshop "How to Find a Job: Resume, Cover Letter and Interview" which will take place at ARC (vul. Esplanadna 20, 6th floor, Kyiv) on Thursday, February 23, 2012 at 7 PM.
The following issues will be covered:
You've found an excellent job announcement. What should you do next?
1. All about resume:
- Difference between Ukrainian (European) and American standards;
- Different formats (resume/CV);
- Resume basic parts: size, contact information, education, work experience, volunteering, professional skills, languages, references;
- Resume samples.
2. All about cover letter: how to write, what to write, general tips and samples.
3. "Job announcement + cover letter + resume" or "funny trio".
You're lucky! You're invited to a job interview. And so what?
1. Preparing for an interview. Importance of references.
2. Types of interview.
3. Weird and wacky interview questions: how to react.
4. Top 50 reasons for failing an interview.
5. Interview your future boss!
